Description
Day 1 (Buenos Aires): Reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 (Buenos Aires): In the morning, we will depart for a City Tour to discover the beauty of Buenos Aires. We will start at the Civic Center, visiting the imposing National Congress, Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo. Then, we’ll pass by the Teatro Colón, a world-renowned opera house and cultural pride of Buenos Aires.
Next, we’ll explore San Telmo, a neighborhood with a magical atmosphere that transports us to the past. We’ll stop at La Boca, famous for its picturesque and colorful architecture, home to the first Italian immigrants.
Continuing to Palermo, a residential neighborhood with attractions like the Ecopark, Parque 3 de Febrero, and the Planetarium. Finally, we’ll visit La Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods, where we’ll see the famous cemetery, elegant boutiques, excellent restaurants, and outdoor cafes. The afternoon will be free, and optionally, we recommend a tango dinner show in the evening.
Day 3 (Buenos Aires – Bariloche): Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Bariloche. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 4 (Bariloche): After breakfast, we’ll begin the Circuito Chico excursion to enjoy the best panoramic views of the region. We’ll border Lake Nahuel Huapi along Bustillo Avenue, passing through highlights like Playa Bonita and Isla Huemul.
About ten kilometers further, we’ll reach Cerro Campanario, where you can optionally ascend by chairlift to the summit (1,050 m) for a spectacular panoramic view. We’ll then continue to areas like Laguna el Trébol, Lake Moreno, and Punto Panorámico for a leisurely walk through the Arrayanes Trail in the Llao Llao Municipal Reserve. We’ll also visit Puerto Pañuelo, Hotel Llao Llao, and the San Eduardo Chapel.
We’ll return to Bariloche along Bustillo Avenue, with the rest of the afternoon free for optional activities. Accommodation.
Day 5 (Bariloche – Lake Crossing – Puerto Varas): After breakfast, we’ll embark on the exciting Lake Crossing journey connecting Argentina and Chile. We’ll start at Puerto Pañuelo, navigating among the hills to Puerto Blest. Then, a short bus ride along the Frías River will take us to Puerto Alegre. We’ll continue our voyage across the green waters of Lake Frías to Puerto Frías for immigration procedures.
Afterward, we’ll take another bus through lush vegetation to Peulla, the first Chilean town, for immigration procedures and lunch. We’ll then navigate Lake Todos los Santos to Petrohue, visiting the impressive Petrohue Falls before arriving at Puerto Varas, where our journey concludes. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel for accommodation.
Day 6 (Bariloche – Lake Crossing – Puerto Varas): Breakfast. At the agreed time, we’ll start the City Tour in Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt. We’ll begin in the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, exploring its main tourist attractions like the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Old Quarter. Then, we’ll descend to the downtown area, bordering the beautiful Lake Llanquihue with the imposing Osorno Volcano in the background, weather permitting.
We’ll then take the Pan-American Highway for about 18 kilometers to reach the highest point in the city of Puerto Montt, from where we’ll have a beautiful panoramic view of the city, the Pacific Ocean, and Tenglo Island. We’ll visit the Monument to the German Settlers, located in front of the Plaza de Armas and its Cathedral.
Continuing our journey to the charming Angelmó sector, known for its wide variety of craft shops. We’ll visit the Fishermen’s Cove and the Municipal Market, observing the daily life of fishermen who bring their catches to sell. We’ll also find eateries offering delicious local dishes. After this experience, we’ll return to the hotel for accommodation.
Day 7 (Puerto Varas – Santiago de Chile): Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for a flight to Santiago de Chile. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 8 (Santiago de Chile): After breakfast, our guided tour of the city will begin. We’ll explore the historical, commercial, and residential areas of Santiago. We’ll visit the courtyards of the Government Palace La Moneda, as well as the historic center including Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Municipality.
Then, we’ll travel along the main avenue of the city, La Alameda, passing by Cerro Santa Lucía, the Forestal Park, and the Museum of Fine Arts. We’ll continue to the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista and end at Cerro San Cristóbal, a natural viewpoint offering panoramic views of the city.
We’ll also explore the modern residential and commercial areas, extending to the foothills of the Andes. We’ll discover new neighborhoods like Santa María de Manquehue, Las Condes, and Vitacura, as well as the Bicentennial Park and the El Golf neighborhood, known for its avant-garde architecture. Later, we’ll return to the accommodation.
Day 9 (Santiago de Chile): Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
