Day 3 (Puerto Madryn): Breakfast. In the morning, we depart for the Península Valdés Protected Natural Area. After an hour’s journey, we arrive at Puerto Pirámides, where it is possible to embark on whale watching (optional) between June and December. There are no sailings in Puerto Pirámides from April to June 15.
Then, we head to Punta Delgada for lunch (not included) at the Lighthouse complex and have the opportunity to go down to the beach to get close to the elephant seals. We continue to Punta Cantor to observe the outer coast of the peninsula and arrive at Caleta Valdés, where we interpret the geological formations of the coast.
Finally, we return to the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, visiting the interpretation center along the way, with high chances of spotting terrestrial fauna such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, maras, armadillos, and skunks. Accommodation.
Day 4 (Puerto Madryn – Trelew – Ushuaia): Breakfast. Departure to Trelew airport for the flight to Ushuaia. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5 (Ushuaia): Breakfast. We will take an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, which covers nearly 69,000 hectares. This unique experience will be in small groups, exploring often unexplored trails and discovering hidden corners of the forest.
We depart from Ushuaia via National Route 3 and make a stop at a panoramic viewpoint of the Beagle Channel. Upon arriving at the park, we begin a trek to the Lapataia Viewpoint, following exceptional trails through this forest.
Departures can be either in the morning or afternoon, each lasting approximately 6 hours. The park, crossed by mountain ranges creating hard-to-reach valleys, is unique for its forests close to the maritime coast, extending 6 km along the Beagle Channel. An optional Beagle Channel navigation to Lobos Island is recommended. Accommodation.
Day 6 (Ushuaia – El Calafate): Breakfast. Departure to the airport for the flight to El Calafate. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 7 (El Calafate): Breakfast. We set out for a full-day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier. From El Calafate, we travel 80 km on gravel roads, enjoying views of Lake Argentino and its Round Bay.
The first 40 km traverse the Patagonian steppe, then we enter Los Glaciares National Park, where the vegetation changes to forests of lenga, ñire, and Magellan’s coihue trees.
The tour culminates at the walkways, which can be explored freely. These walkways extend for 4 km, and their staircases descend to about 300 meters from the glacier’s front. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 8 (El Calafate): Breakfast. Free day. We recommend the Ríos de Hielo Express excursion. Accommodation.
Day 9 (El Calafate – Buenos Aires): Breakfast. Departure to the airport for the flight to Buenos Aires. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day 10 (Buenos Aires): Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a City Tour to discover the beauty of Buenos Aires. We will visit the Civic Center, starting with the impressive National Congress and the Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo.
We will pass in front of the Teatro Colón, one of the world’s opera gems and a cultural pride of Buenos Aires. Then, we will explore the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo, with its magical atmosphere that transports us back in time.
We will stop at La Boca, famous for its picturesque and colorful architecture, where the first Italian immigrants settled. We will continue to Palermo, a residential neighborhood with several attractions such as the Ecoparque, Parque 3 de Febrero, and the Planetarium.
Finally, we will visit Recoleta, one of the city’s most exclusive neighborhoods, known for its famous cemetery, elegant boutiques, excellent restaurants, and outdoor cafes. Free afternoon. In the evening, an optional tango dinner show is recommended. Accommodation.
